When I change the background of a slide, using a gradient, it asks if all of the
backgrounds of all the slides should be changed. However, only the current slide
is changed.

I can't reproduce the bug.
Maybe your document contains several master slides. The background
settings are for all pages with the same masterpage. 
Please attach a sample document if the bug still occures.

I get no answer and no document has been attached. Therefore I think
the bug doesn't occures any time longer.
Please reopen the issue if you can still reproduce the bug.
