Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19505
Drawings not rendered correctly when .sxw file sent as zip attachment
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I received this zip file as an email attachment. It is just a zipped .sxw file. When I unzip it and open it in OO 1.1RC3, the file is perfectly fine, but many embedded excel spreadsheet graphs are not rendered correctly. I get the message: SvObjNotFound. But these objects are actually there, if I double-click any of these objects, I can select the correct graph and the charts come up. I would like the graphs to be rendered correctly out-of-the-box. Btw, as you may guess, I had to use Excel instead of Calc for the class exercise because Calc does not have Fourier Transforms. My system is a Dell Lattitude Laptop running windows XP. It has 2GHz Pentium and 512 MB RAM. In case the file opens correctly on other systems, the attached pdf file shows how it appeared on my machine.

Hi, wrong component. The attached files are writer files and the problem seems to be in the OLE section. Therefore I assign it to SJ. Frank
