Description capstone737 2003-09-12 05:00:06 UTC
Please have a look at this MS Word 97 document. It was originally created by an
accounting package and then emailed to us. It opens perfectly in Word 97 but OOo
can't handle it at all. When it is opened in Word 97 and then saved back as
another file name, OOo can open the new file without too many problems.

Very strange.

Comment 4 michael.ruess 2003-09-12 12:04:19 UTC
It is because the file is not of Word97 format. It is unsupported Word
2.x format.
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2003-09-12 12:04:56 UTC
Closed, because OO will only support WinWord6 or newer formats.
