There appears to be no way to determine the RC of OpenOffice.
OpenOffice 1.1 RC - RC4 all provide the same information in the "About" dialog 
box.

When pressing Ctrl+S,D,T the about box scrolls and shows the installed
build id. Mentioning the RC build on the first screen of the about
dialog, may be a wish for an enhancement but not a prio 1 bug !

all the different rc have a different BuildId in the about box. since
there are all release candidates, it makes no sense to identify then
as RC, since a simple rename will make them a final.  otherwise a
change would be required.
