Hi all,

I tried creating an address book to my Evolution contacts. I'm using Evo 1.4
something or other, and I've noticed that :
- extended latin characters are misrepresented in the table grid view.
 For instance, ç (c cedilla) in François is represented as
 Fran\303\247ois, and similarly for all accented characters.

Sample data that poses problems :

Lemaître
Bourès

closely related: 20958. I probably like to mark this here as duplicate
(despite it being earlier), since the other bug already has an initial
patch.
