This has been a problem since 1.0.3.1.  When Autosaving,the cursor vanishes and
can be made visible only by clicking with the mouse.  It is perhaps similar to
some similar issues, but has only happened with Autosave.  As a result, I always
answer "No" to Autosave and then save manually to preserve my cursor position.

I'm running on a version of Caldera's old Workstation 3.1 updated to qt3 libs.

jw: can not reproduce this with OOo1.1rc4 on windows and OOo1.1rc3 on 
linux
