Description mpmacal 2003-09-04 04:19:24 UTC
Windows XP sp1, Dell workstation, Intel 3Ghz, 1GB Ram, Nvidia Quadro IV

Since installing OOo1.1RC3 I can no longer use <File><New> or <File><Template>
from the context menu.
Ctrl+N brings a new document window and Ctrl+Shift+N will open the Documents
and Template window. I cannot find a hotkey to open AutoPilot.

I went through the entire context menu for Text Document and Spreadsheet and
HTML editor. I cannot find any other disabled items.

The two selections are not grayed out. There are no error messages. It does
not change if I have a document loaded or start with a clean slate.

I checked the installation path of template files and documents and compared to
the configuration <Tools><Options><Paths> and could not find any conflicts.

I have not attempted a clean install. The current install is over an install
of 1.0.3.

I uninstalled RC3 and installed RC4 and I can no longer produce the
problem. All menus are behaving normally.
I was not able to determine if there was an anomaly with RC3 or a
faulty install on my local machine. (I lean towards the faulty
install)
Sorry... but thanks for the assist.
