I am attempting to create a new presentation template. I have opended the 
presentation program, selected file, templates, organize, new and created a 
new template directory. I then did a file, templates, save and saved a new 
template. Actually I have saved three different templates. At this point I was 
able to create a new presentation by selecting one of the new templates but I 
never closed the presentation application. I then closed the application and 
selected templates form the quickstarter. I can see my new directory but none 
of the templates that were created. I can look on the drive and the templates 
ate in the directory.

Not reproducible in a more recent build like 8683. When the newly
created folder was selected and a filename was given when saving the
template, the template is shown in the folder afterwards and can be
selected from the quickstarter.
