If you press CTRL + (that's CTRL plus +) it should insert a new row
Excel does this and the missing shortcut is driving my girlfriend nuts

Hi Henrik,

this is not a bug but a support request. These questions are answered
at the mailinglists especially users@.

Try to select configure from the contextmenu of the main toolbar and
have a look at the keyboard section.

I know about configuring shortcut keys and its great.

Basiclly the bug report was about including the shortcut key as default.
