When a document is opened again after closing it, there appears at the very 
top of the document some spurious text [10 to 50 characters] which looks like 
format tags.  this appears only to happen when, during the session, I have 
attempted to make some change in a default format [eg for footnotes].

please install the latest office release and try it again. if possible 
attach a file the error occurs in consistently.
