Description hermann 2003-08-28 15:43:16 UTC
Hi *,

now I tried OOoRC3de on Win NT4 SP6 to connect to SAPDB 7.4 over JDBC. I created
some Tables. First I can insert something in the Table-Design Gui as
default-value. But If I look later on this column (perhaps after inserting
another column) the value is now not visible (I don´t know wether it is stored
anyway)
So I tried to get DEFAULT SERIAL Working. But If I tried then to insert some
Data in this Table, OOo chrashes. So I thought try to do a simple table only
with wome Integers, varchars etc. and an integer as Primary Key.
Then if I insert some Data it works well. But if I insert nothing in the
PrimaryKey-Field, OOo crashes again.

Hi *,

now I tried same on a new installen W2K Machine with new Instalations
of OOoRC3de and SAPDB 7.4.3.27.

create a new table with an field id an integer as PrimaryKey and a
field as varchar. then switch to gui and open the new table. insert
some text into varchar-Field and click then on the varchar-field in
the next row.
OOo crashes every time and reproduce-able.
Following error-message raises up:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Programm: C:\Programme\...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the application´s support team for more
information.

and then a OK Box to click and close OOo.

CLU->All: this sounds really bad, can anybody outside reproduce that
behavior? unfortunately i have no sap database to connect to

CLU->Hermann Kienlein: may you try out the final oo (or newer)? does
it still occure?
