Japanese Setup Guide for OpenOffice.org1.1

Our community has original Japanese Setup Guides which has all the information of the English standard Setup Guide, Japanese specific information, up-to-date OpenOffice.org1.1 screenshots, new features, short history of OpenOffice.org and some tips to use its functions etc. Authors of the original Japanese Setup Guides are Ikuya AWASHIRO and Yutaka KACHI who are JCA signed people. Actually the original Japanese Setup Guides have two versions: "For Windows" and "For Linux" This is because, we think: 1) For example, installation process, Tool-Options etc. are different between OOo for Windows and OOo for Linux. OOo for Windows doesn't have spadmin. There are many other differences between them. 2) Linux specific information including command lines etc. would be too much for Windows users. And vice versa. Now our request is that the original Japanese Setup Guide for OpenOffice.org1.1 for Windows be included in an official release of OpenOffice.org1.1 Japanese localized version's installation sets, and the original Japanese Setup Gude for OpenOffice.org1.1 for Linux be included in an official release of OpenOffice.org1.1 Japanese localized version's installation sets. Both the original Japanese Setup Guide for OpenOffice.org1.1 for Windows and the original Japanese Setup Gude for OpenOffice.org1.1 for Linux will be attached here. Thanks

Hi, the target milestone is set to OOo 1.1.1. But we could consider to include the installation guide in OOo 1.1.0 as this has not yet been published.
Hi, These are newest guides. changelog: for linux -> for Linux and Solaris added some cliparts

I hope target 1.1.1. because it is good documents . but i think Character is different of setup guide.

Hi Martin, Thanks for taking care of this task. Can you tell me what exactly matters when you include Setup Guides into ooo builds? Actually our guides are not identical to the standard English Setup Guide. We call it Installation Guides, which include all the information the standard English Setup Guide has, and additional information, such as history, tips and Japanese specific issues etc. It is bigger than the standard one. Now the size of the file matters? Setup Guides, which can be included into ooo builds, should be identical to the standard one, I mean, they should be exact translations of the standard one? Or do you regard our consensus among ja community on what should be included into ooo builds? Thanks
