Description vollbracht 2003-08-27 02:18:56 UTC
Ladies and gentlemen,
a slightly complex drawing which looks fine in OOo 1.1 RC2 on win95, where it
has been created, is messed up when being opened readonly in OOo 1.1 RC3 on
Linux (SuSE 8.1). In addition the mess is even more complete when I switch to
editing mode.

Thanks for posting your document. But it would be great to have
screenshots how the drawing should look like and how it looks in your
RC3. Thanks a lot.

How HAUS1.sxd (eg. page "EG", the octogon part) happens to look
Comment 6 vollbracht 2003-08-29 09:43:25 UTC
When I recognized the problem, the initial view was some uper right
corner of a page where only little parts of the drawing are to be seen
in the lower left corner of the window.
I allways get the mess only with lines of the octogon part when I DRAG
the horizontal scroll bar from the right into the middle. The page
does not matter. The view is healed when I vertically scroll the
octogon part out of and back into sight.
I can't see this behaviour in OOo 1.0.3.1 / NT4.0
Data integrity seems not to be touched. :-)

That sounds a little bit like a repaint problem? Do I understand you
right that the drawing is not really scrambled but it looks like?
Please try the following:
when the drawing looks scrambled try a manual repaint (pressing
CTRL-SHIFT-R). When the scrambling is gone than it is the repaint.
Comment 8 vollbracht 2003-08-29 12:58:48 UTC
Yes, [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[R] works.
Again, it's allways the same set of lines. And I've done a lot with
copy and paste with other pages.

Sorry for the delay.
So you say that a repaint helps? That means that the lines are correct
but are painted bad. Doing a repaint repairs the look?
What is the content.pxml for?

Thanks for your help again.
