Description Unknown 2003-08-25 04:44:32 UTC
I encountered this problem trying to find a work-around to another problem
(reported as a separate bug). The first problem was spacing in the PDF exported
from the (soon to be) attached spreadsheet -- vertical spacing betweein some
cells was absent. I formatted the page borders, and may have done a couple of
other things, and tried re-exporting the PDF. The file EF_Content.sxc is a
snapshot of the spreadsheet before these changes, and exported correctly (except
for the absence of vertical spacing); the exported PDF is EF_Content.pdf-old.
The file EF_Content-mod.sxc is a snapshot of the spreadsheet after the changes,
and the (11Mbyte!) EF_Content.pdf is the resulting export. The uploaded
attachment is a tgz file and is a little over 2MB.

This was done on a dual processor P4 Xeon, Red Hat Linux 9, kernel
2.4.20-19.9smp, with 1Gbyte of RAM, and OpenOffice 1.1.0 RC3.

Hi,

this is not a bug !

What you've done is to hard format the whole sheet with cell borders,
auto line breaks and some things more. This results in an un-predicted
amount of sheets to be printed/exported to pdf. If you want your
document formated this way, try to use supress empty pages to be
printed under tools options spreadsheets print.

Hope this helps.

BTW this is a support question which is answered normally on the
mailing lists. Especially the users@ one.

Frank
