Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18593
html rendering problems
Last modified: 2003-11-07 14:59:48 UTC
The OpenOffice.org word processor was painfully slow at rendering the above URL, and I got lots of beeping when attempting to scroll. To be precise. I displayed the URL using mozilla, and pasted the page contents into the word processor. I've found similar problem using Mozilla 1.4. My objective was to use the word processor to remove the shading of the tables so I could print without wasting ink. I later did the same with http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/ after I had closed my ppp session. Here I found that the diagrams had not been copied, but box outlines were displayed instead. What I had expected in both cases was to be able to edit the displayed text and to preserve the graphics (especially for the second URL).
reassigned to es

table cells/rows can not continue over a page boundary issue 2109 FOr the rest (graphic lost when no connection), OOo doesn't get the graphic from the browser cache but from the HTML source = need to retrieve the graphics online. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 2109 ***
