Description sparcmoz 2003-08-24 03:14:27 UTC
The linux sparc 11rc3 is on the mirrors/contrib and two (2) users have reported
success, so i wonder now if we should create an entry in the porting page?

i am happy to be listed as contact or perhaps just put the dev@porting mail list.

Could mention users are requested to help with the smoke tests.

The porting page should also mention where to find the various contrib packages.

could linux sparc be mentioned on the porting page?
Comment 2 foskey 2003-08-31 13:38:31 UTC
Could you be a little more concrete about the content. a html snippet
would be perfect, just the facts would be fine.

Where is the webpage? If you want a specific webpage we can create
one with all the information.

on the page porting.openoffice.org

after AIX by Ken Foskey

add this

<p><font color="#cc6600">Linux Sparc

</font></p>
=================

there is no web page, the tarball is on mirrors at openoffice/contrib

but i think the porting page could mention this
<p>
Installers for some of these ports are found in openoffice/contrib at
<href="http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/#mirrors"> Current
Mirror Sites</a>
