Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18531
OpenOffice Writer "stretch" feature
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:13:16 UTC
I am a latex user, one for a long time. I really like openoffice and the software. My enhancement idea is a personal one derived from my latex use and my experience with some commands i just can't live without. the command \stretch in latex is one of those. for those that don't know, stretch simply allows you to move text or space around, by the feature i love is simply being able to have some text left-aligned, then push the rest of the text to the right margin. i know this can be done with tables, but being a web developer, it would be nice to have a way to avoid all the work involved with tables. most people will think i'm crazy, but i figured i miss this feature a lot when i use openoffice and figured i would see if anyone else did and might want to put it into a future release.. thanks for the time.
