Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18481
invalid docbook for unordered list
Last modified: 2007-07-20 15:56:30 UTC
I have an unordered list in an sxw file which when I save it as a docbook file I get : <para>how can i help</para> <variablelist> <listitem> <para>Please read this FAQ first</para> </listitem> <listitem> <para>Send an email to the users@openoffice.org list with all relevant info including which operation system you use, which version of that operating system, which version of OpenOffice you use and any other relevant info.</para> </listitem> </variablelist> which is invalid Docbook, as it should contain <varlistentry> tags around the <listitem> elements.
Reassigned to JSI
Reporter: Please send me the .sxw or tell me how did you create it! I have create an unordered list and it was VALID against DOCBOOK DTD but looks not like yours.
Switched to 'XML'
Please do not switch this to "RESOLVED" "INVALID" without letting me give you a response!!! You will find the "offending" sxw file actually in openoffice.org's CVS. http://support.openoffice.org/source/browse/support/www/faq/support.sxw? rev=1.1&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup There is also a version of docbook in this directory ( http://support. openoffice.org/source/browse/support/www/faq/docbook-xsl/ ) which indicates the problem.
1. There are more than one issue in this document. (See: 3) 2. If a QA rep. can not understand or reproduce an issue the issue is INVALID as long as it can be EVALUATED. That's a normal process to have a clear status of all bugs. JSI->James: In that document we have some issues, here is the list: - 2x "UNDEFINED Entity 'mailto:users@openoffice.org" referred to from 'targetdocent'" - "Mandantory element 'title' expected in place of 'listitem'" => If you correct these issues manually you get the problem the reporter submitted. "Mandatory element 'varlistentry' expected in place of 'listitem'"
Created attachment 8713 [details] Exported bugdoc (as DocBook XML)
Set target milestone and sub component correctly.
JSI: As MIB told me Lars is the correct eng.

"According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap (http://development.openoffice.org/releases/) this issue was retargeted to OOo Later."
xmlfilter for you
I made myself an example document, as I can not longer receive the test document from the URL. It seems to work now. If you are still available, please ping me and I will sent you the latest stylesheet to test. Thanks in advance, Svante
