Description marcdver 2003-08-19 17:25:25 UTC
When I try to print an envelope, the print head moves, but no text appears. In
previous versions of 1.1, it would print once if it was the first thing to be
printed since loading. I have since installed OO with the quickstarter, so I
will have to experiment further to explore this behavior. I am using a Lexmark
Z22, in case that's relavent.

I tried unloading the quickstarter and printing en envelope. First, I
tried with a saved envelope, and that didn't work. Then I unloaded
OO, reloaded OO, and then composed an envelope manually. That too
didn't work.

I found the instructions in issue 5961, and I am now able to print
envelopes. Apparently the default envelope under Format of the
envelope window is a non-standard kind, at least for the US.
Interestingly, I did not have to go to the printer setup to change the
paper type. However, the envelopes are printed 180 degrees different
than what is indicated by the graphics in the envelope window. I
thought I saw another issue in which this is addressed, but I don't
recall off-hand which issue it is.

HI->OS: As I know you have the envelope feature still in progress.
