Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18372
Problem in "Print Only Selected Sheets"
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:02 UTC
first: sorry my bad english ok? Even after marked the "Print Only Selected Sheets" (Tools -> Options -> Spreadsheet -> Print) checkbox, the ooo still print all sheets that I have at least one character in their cells... I put "test1" in A1 (sheet1), "test2" in A1 (sheet2) and "test3" in A1 (sheet3). I want to print only the sheet1, but I always have to specify the page range to avoid the ooo to send the three sheets to printer. got it ? thanx
In time: this apply to print preview option... just in the printer dialog the ooo show all pages to print, but just the selected sheet is really printed.
Hi, as you found out by yourself, the print preview shows all possible pages but the printoutput will only be the selected page, this is not a bug. But you're right, Print preview should only show the selected pages, so I set the flags and reassign it to our feature guys. Frank
We are not going to change the current page preview to a complete print preview for OO.o 2.0.
Closed.
Plz Bettina, reopen this issue... look: Maybe I did not explain correct before, 'cause I did not ask to do a complete print preview, is just the contrary: to do a print preview only for the selected(s) sheet(s): look: If we have 3 sheets with 50 pages each, when we ask the print preview of first sheet, the page numbers is shown like 01 of 150, not 01 of 50 that I think is correct.. (this is a uncomfortable situation)... and with the print preview of first sheet in screen we hit ctrl+end, e.g., to go to the end of first sheet, the Ooo take us to last page of third sheet... Thanx
