I can't reproduce the bug.
Could it be that you select 'Black and White' or 'hight contrast' in
'View/Display settings'.
I can reproduce the behaviour when I select 'Hight Contrast' settings
in the 'Accessibility Options'of windows. This behaviour would be ok
because the 1.0.3 ignores the 'Accessibility Options', the 1.1
considers the 'Accessibility Options'.

Good day Christian Guenther,

Thanks you are right- I inadvertantly had "use automatic font color
for screen display" option set in Options for high contrast under
Accesibility. I need help on how to keep this on record for help for
end users - perhaps a troubleshooter or FAQ? This had me working a
long time trying to see where I am going wrong and only then did I
report to you. Thanks

Best wishes
Kedar

maybe the 'users@openoffie.org' or the 'discuss@openoffice.org'
mailing lists helps you.
