Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18353
Crash while using fontwork in writer
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:45 UTC
1) File -> New -> Text Document 2) Draw a text box using the sidebar... 3) insert your text in the frame and mark it (e.g. Geburtstag) 4) format -> fontwork -> click on the first symbol in the first row... 5) click somewhere outside the text frame 6) double click the text frame and mark the text 7) replace the text (e.g. test) and mark it 8) click in font on the second symbol in first row... 9) Crash-Reporter... Sometimes you need to repeat 3) to 8) the text once more... This only happens in Writer, not in Calc or Draw...
This happens on linux, OOo1.1, too.
I can't reproduce this bug on Solaris. When you say "mark the text", do you mean "highlight" with the mouse? Or do you mean something else?
JA->MBA: please have a look at this issue. The last lines of the callstack look like pure SFX (sfx slot is being used after a function within fontwork has been called). MCI showed it to me. If you have questions then don't hesitate to ask me...
Oliver: You fixed a crash in this area, is this problem already solved?
Duplicate of internal task 111733 - fixed in CWS os16. sw/source/ui/shells/drwtxtsh.cxx rev. 1.18.156.1
Verified the fix. Will be part of OO 1.1.1.
close issue.
