Description joergbudi 2003-08-17 18:55:17 UTC
In OOoRC3, PyUNO must be selected explicitly during customized setup.

This state is ok for active script writers. But if someone wants to create a
3rd-party product on top of it, it is very cumbersome to tell each customer to
activate the PyUNO bridge during installation process. PyUNO would there have a
significant disadvantage compared to C++, Java or OLE Automation bridge.

Issue #i15607# has been fixed, pyuno now works on all known platforms. Attached
is a the patch to make pyuno installable by default. Please approve and commit
the patch for RC4.
