Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18251
Bad filename when save file with long Russian name
Last modified: 2004-03-19 10:35:45 UTC
when I save file with short Russian name - Ok. when I save file with long name OO create second file with name is %45%56...%67.swx and when filename is very long OO cannot save file with "Cannot create backup" message. In last case OO trying rename old file to %44...%63.swx, but cannot do it. Please excuse me for my English.
Short name mean ~15 char's. if file name to save more than 15 char's OO Writer fail. I predict two way to solve it. 1. Make bigger buffer of filename char's. 2. Write filename to disk in unicode or default codepage without convertation to %34%F3%E2..
