Description samuelhartmann 2003-08-14 21:09:13 UTC
I created a writer document with OOo 1.0.1. The document contains four pictures
in a table. I loaded the document with OOo 1.1 RC modified it and saved it
again. Maybe I also modified it with 1.1 Beta 1+2, I don't remember anymore. Now
when the document is loaded with OOo 1.0.1 three of the four pictures (namely
the pictures showing the OOo-Birds, the AbiWord and the MozillaMail-Logo) do not
appear anymore.

Thanks a lot to all OOo-developer!

Samuel

OD->Samuel (15.08.2003):
The graphics don't disappear, they have an transparency of 100%. Thus,
they are not visible.

Workaround for OOo 1.0.1: Look in the navigator and You will find the
graphics. Double-click the graphics in the navigator in order to
select the corresponding graphic and change the transparency value in
the toolbar from 100% to 0% and the graphic will come back to Your view.

Cause of the defect: During development of OOo 1.1 we figured out,
that the transparency value range [0..100] isn't saved correctly in
the XML file - it was mapped to the range [-100..-21]. Thus, we
corrected this for OOo 1.1 and we introduced a patch in OOo
1.0.2/1.0.3 in order to read 'old' incorrect values and 'new'
corrected values.
Thus, it's fixed in OOo 1.0.3
