Description Unknown 2001-10-07 17:51:49 UTC
Hi
I wrote my thesis (67 pages) with staroffice. I used the master document
functionality, that is the document was splitted up to serveral subdocuments.
There is a crash when updating all links with staroffice5.2 to openoffice build
638 under windows. The page counter in the statusbar below have too high values
already in the beginning. This problem do not occur under staroffice 5.2 under
linux. I have not tried the build638 linux version.
If you could give a mail address then I could send the thesis documents in a zip
file .

Regards Niklas Forsbäck

The master document (avh_master.sgl)in the zip file has to be opened
first. After that the navigator is used to update all links. On my NT
and win2000 machine a crash occur but not on my linux home computer
running SO5.2. Hope you can identify the problem base on this
description. I manage to upload the thesis zip file, so I do not need
a e-mail account to send it to.

Reassigned to Hasan.
Comment 4 h.ilter 2001-10-09 08:46:41 UTC
Reproducible, please have a look for it.
Comment 5 jp 2001-10-15 14:46:11 UTC
I can reproduce it only if i update the linked section to document
preliminart_data.sdw a second time (then the footnote in the table
creates the problem). This I fixed now for the build 641.
