Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18126
open file dialog: file system links shown without filename
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:35:48 UTC
Hi, in the open file dialog a link (created with ln -s ...) is displayed as a file without file name and with 0 bytes in the case that the target points to a directory which is *not* mounted. If the directory is mounted then the link is shown correctly in the file open dialog. You should at least show the file name (like other file managers do) even if it is invalid. Otherwise people don't know that this is a link (like me) end try to delete it within the file open dialog function (right click) which doesn't work either in this case. Thanks
Confirmed -- RFE?
HI->TM: Seems to be yours
TM->BH: This is more a wish for an enhancement in displaying "non file-system"-items in our file-open dialog than a DEFECT. Please have a look. Thanks !
