When using excel it is very easy to paste tables into a spreadsheet. When
pasting, e.g. from outlook express address book, or html tables on internet,
the columns are automatically recognised and copied into spreadsheet. When
doing the same in an Open Office spreadsheet, the rows get recognised, but the
columns not, ie. all the data ends up on one column, row by row.

Hi,

I could not reproduce what you described.

Have you checked it with OOo1.1RC2 ?

What's the Browser you're using and where can we find such a table on
the net ?

Best regards

Frank
