System: Win2000, servicepack 2, newest german OOo version (1.1 RC1)
I encountered the following problem: I insert a table into a previously created
section (german version: Bereich) with two columns. After that i insert empty
paragraphs over the table, until the table would have to be broken at the end of
the page. But before that happens, the hourglass appears and then OOo hangs.

Exact proceeding:
1)Open new text-document.
2)Add empty paragraphs until you are approximately 4cm from page break.
3)Now add a section with two columns
4)Change column width: for example left column 25% of page width and the right
column takes the rest
Note:
If you do not change the column width, OOo sometimes succeeds in breaking the
table at the end of the page. But if you change the column width, OOo will hang
almost every time.
5)Now insert a table (2 columns and 2 lines) in the right column of the section.
6)Now add empty paragraphs to the left column of the section, until OOo has to
break the table at the end of the page.
Note:
The problem occurs when OOo has to do the break between the first (table head)
and the second line of the table. If you have a table with more than two lines
then the problem does not always appear.
7)OOo hangs.
