Description lars 2003-08-08 14:10:17 UTC
Auto-input is suggesting completions for the whole cell.

Auto-complete could just suggest completions for words used somewhere in a cell

I think we can have only one autocompletion. Also Calc isn't a
wordprocessor, so this is not realy needed.

IMO we should close this one.

I only gave it a P4 because I didn't deem it very important. But it
should stay open for a while.

If I have 2 cells, one with content "oneday" and one with "it was an
artificiallyenlargedword" and if I then start typing in a third cell
and I begin with "on", Auto-Input suggests "oneday", if I however
continue with "once there was an art", Auto-Complete my now
suggest "artificiallyenlargedword" for "art".

This is useful when one uses Calc in fact to write little texts
(accompanying tables).
