Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17984
Macro: Dialog "Format->Page" needs to record attributes
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:30 UTC
When defining macros in OOo 1.1 Beta 2 spreadsheet, the last action in the macro recording (before pressing the end recording button) is to press the "OK" button on a dialog. In this case I was trying a simple macro to set the spreadsheet to print in landscape mode. The problem is that when the macro is executed, it stops on the last step and presents the dialog, forcing the user to manually press the "OK" button on the dialog. The earlier steps of getting to the print setup dialog, and the pressing of the "landscape" radio button were done correctly; it's just that the last step was skipped.
Hi, please attach a document containing the recorded macro. Frank Hi Skotty, please have a look. Frank

Hi Philmperry, your way of setting the page orientation uses the system printer settings dialog. This will never work, we cannot record actions taken in dialogs outside the office. The bad news is: Using Format / Page / Landscape will not work either at this point. NN: This replaces #101410, i close the internal issue. Setting to "New"
Reassign to NN.
Accepting, but don't expect any quick progress. There are currently no plans to extend the coverage of the macro recorder.
According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap (http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to OOo Later.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
