OO crashes on first startup for all users

As any user, including root: Immediately after running ./setup and choosing workstation, then trying to run soffice, swriter, etc. I receive "unrecoverable error". Following the instructions found in 16872 (removing the unicode packages from my SuSE 8.2) did NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I did a complete removal and re-install of OO 1.1RC2 after removing those packages, including erasing my ~/OpenOffice1.1 and .xopenoffice directories, etc. I STILL get the same problem. The crash dump is exactly the same.
If a workaround doesn't help it doesn't mean that the problem isn't fixed! Please ask the community to find another way to work around that problem.
Problem is fixed. Wait for one of the next 1.1 versions.
