Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17910
mails from OOo mailing lists use a wrong target mail address
Last modified: 2004-04-04 18:26:25 UTC
At OOo, I am registered as "fs", with the mail address "frank.schoenheit@sun.com". This information is shown when I edit my profile (http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/UserEdit?userID=77), and, well, this is as it should be. However, mails from the OOo mailing lists are sent to frank.schoenheit@germany.sun.com, which is a mail address which I used formerly. I'll attach a mail which proves this by the "Received" headers. The "@germany." address is available for compatibility only, and could be switched off any time. Thus, it definately shouldn't be used anymore. Since I cannot change this address via the website frontend, it needs to be done somewhere else (or even better: the email address information should not be duplicated in the database, as it currently seems to be the case). I suppose that this may not only affect me, but all Sun employees which changed their address to not contain a country part anymore.
Created attachment 8261 [details] message proving that the wrong mail address is used
Another reason why I am concerned about this is that from time to time, I receive messages from EZLM telling that messages it tried to send me bounced. I won't complain about EZLM talking with itself :), but I am not sure if these bouncing messages are caused by the wrong mail address ....
Frank, You were subscribed to the issues@dba list with the frank.schoenheit@germany.sun.com address.I removed that address and subscribed you as frank.schoenheit@sun.com If you get any more of these emails let us know which project and mailing list they appear for and we will edit the address for you. Thanks, Kristen
Argh. This means I mixed up to different things here. Sorry for this, I'll close this as INVALID (I think I can manually change my subscriptions, if necessary). Thanks a lot!

set target to current, so that we can remove 1.1.1rcx version from www component
