create a document in Oo and then save as word document
open document in Oo change the size of fonts to smaller size
save as word document.
re-open document font still same size.

Also generally if there are any tips for word compatability

Unable to confirm 1.1rc3

Please upgrade and reopen the issue if the problem still exists.
