This defect happened in Text Document and Spreadsheet.

Re-creatable steps:

1. New a file in Text Document or Spreadsheet
2. Insert a Floating Frame by clicking Insert -> Floating frame
3. In Floating frame, fill out in Name input area, attach a file in Contents 
area, and then OK to exit
4. Select this floating frame
5. Delete this floating frame
6. The issues is: after the floating frame is deleted, the menu items in object 
bar and menu items in main menu, for example, in Format menu, will keep 
unchanged for floating frame object. 

At this moment, you may try to type some text, select the text, click Format 
menu, please not the format you look at is for floating frame, but not for text.

This results in the menu is unusable for all of the other objects. Actually, 
you will can't do most of thing unless closing and restarting the applicaation.

Confirmed in text document via reporter instructions.

Confirmed in spreadsheet with caveat:  

In two out of ten times, menus *did* reset after floating frame was
deleted.  I started a new spreadsheet each time I tested the floating
frame deleting problem.  On two occasions, the menus reset properly
after selecting different cells and checking menus.  On the other
occasions, the menus still refused to reset.  

Unable to consistently reproduce in spreadhsheet.  After deletion of
the floating frame, menu options were unusable initially, sometimes
permanently.  Clicking on two different cells and checking menus
thereafter cleared the problem one time.

TM->HI: Surely this IS a wordprocessor problem ! Floating frames are
special items like controls, used in documents like in html-docs.
These frames don´t belong to the framework-section, they are
application specific ! So please have a look or send it to ES !

CD: I will check this problem. Looks like we have a bug in the format
menu controller implementation.

CD: I have found the real problem, where have locked bindings that and
therefor no updates are send to the user interface elements.

CD: Fixed it, MBA reviewed my changes.

Fixed and verified issues for OOo 1.1.1 mustn't reopened to merging the fix also
for 680.
Please let it closed and open a new issue with a regarding to the closed one.
