Minimizing the window of a short writer document reproducable results in
 - permanent high system load
 - writer permanently allocates new memory
 - writer doesn't respond any more(window cannot be reactivated)

I can confirm the reporter's symptoms with their attached testcase on
SuSE linux 7.3 intel OOo1.1RC

Deleting the shaded number bullet with the backspace key stops the issue.

This looks like a duplicate of issue 14844
