Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17622
text prints "collapsed" when wrapped around graphics
Last modified: 2004-01-12 06:53:01 UTC
I have a document with text wrapped around a contoured bitmap image. When printed (on a HP Deskjet 690c) in some areas several letters are printed on top of each other (similiar to backspacing a typewriter and doubletyping). This behaviour seems to be enhanced if I use forced hyphenations (ctrl -) to get the text to wrap more closely to the graphics. In these cases OO acts almost as if the hyphenations were a kind of backspace command. It also happens on other occasions so it's probably not only the hyphenation. I may be capable of providing a sample document if required.
Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test it/faster to confirm. (Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more time) Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is small, but we still able to see the problem.
Closing issue due to reporter's inactivity as WFM. Please open a new issue if the problem still exists in the latest release of OOo (add attach a document which can be used to reproduce the problem). Rainer
