Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17590
links to issues should have a tooltip that contains issue title and status
Last modified: 2008-05-17 23:57:09 UTC
links to issues should have a tooltip (title) that contains issue number and status. That way, hovering over a issue number (in a summery, comment, dependency etc) will give a good idea what that issue is. This is already implemented in Mozilla's bugzilla, and helps very much with the everyday work with bugs. A few examples (hover over any bug number in the page to get the information): http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154625 http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47838
Good Idea, but I'm afraid this will take endless time, also see: <http://www.openoffice.org/project/www/issues/buglist.cgi?component=www&issue_status=UNCONFIRMED&issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&issue_status=RESOLVED&issue_status=VERIFIED&issue_status=CLOSED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&issueidtype=include&issue_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=title&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&issue_file_loc=&issue_file_loc_type=substring&status_whiteboard=&status_whiteboard_type=substring&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time> <http://qa.openoffice.org/project/www/issues/buglist.cgi?component=website&issue_status=UNCONFIRMED&issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&issue_status=RESOLVED&issue_status=VERIFIED&issue_status=CLOSED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&issueidtype=include&issue_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=title&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&issue_file_loc=&issue_file_loc_type=substring&status_whiteboard=&status_whiteboard_type=substring&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time> Rainer
Sounds like a good suggestion for IZ or a successor. Btw, the "tooltip" is generated by use of the title attribute in links. Reassinging to support.
I think this issue is a duplicate of 2150. Reassigning to Shoshannah to review. I'll add the details from your request to our existing enhancement request, PCN 6416, and close this as a duplicate. Please reopen if you disagree. Thanks, Kristen
Marking as duplicate. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 2150 ***
I removed the keyword 'accessibility' of this issue (issue 7294) because (external) queries use (blind) this keyword to evaluate the accessibility of the product (OOo) itself. Even if the validation conforming to w3c leads to improvements in accessibility: - this keyword should be reserved for the product and not the web site - this keyword should be reserved for issues concerning accessibility issues *and only accessibility issues*. Thank you for your understanding.
The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step towards Closing it. If you feel this is incorrect, please re-open the issue and add any comments. As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed. A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM). Regards, Andrew
