When pasting WMF (or EMF?) graphic from WORD 2000 (9.0.4402 SR-1)
to OOo 1.1 RC2 various problems occur.

If "paste" is done: Graphic appears as low-resolution bitmap,
even thought graphic was vector graphic and thus suitable for artwork.

If "Paste special" with "GDI metafile" format is done, circles are missing
and fonts are different from original.

If "Paste special" with "Formatted Text (RTF)" format is done, 
and fonts are different from original (almost perfect...).

Missing circles might be related to bug 5211.

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org
many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If
the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back 
It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try.

as utomo said please install the latest release of OOo and come back 
if the error 
still occurs on your system.

this issue will be closed if i do not read any further comments until

I added test case, which contains two problematic metafiles.
There are several problems when opening file with Word 2000 and
using copy-paste them to OO 1.1.
Short summary of problems: 
- WMF is vector format, but paste results in low-resolution bitmap.
  No good for serious work.
- EMF originating graphics gets badly damaged no matter how it is copied.

I did not analyze problems in detail, as they can be seen on screen easily,
at least using reasonable zoom.

I have not seen any font related problems.

Also, if test case is opened with OO 1.1, EMF file is damaged.
