Description sebybar 2003-07-28 13:36:34 UTC
Windows XP Pro:
- create User1 (Administrator) and login
- Install OpenOffice
- Create User2 (Administrator)
- login User2
- remove User1
AT THIS POINT THERE IS NO WAY TO UNINSTALL OPENOFFICE. NO UNINSTALL OPTIONS
APPEAR IN THE CONTROL PANEL.

OOo writes the user settings in the user part of the registry. This is
not a bug, it's the desired behaviour. A standard installation is an
installation for just one user. You have made such an installation for
an user with admin rights, but that's no difference. Go to the OOo
destination and start setup from here to uninstall. For a multiuser
environment make a -net installation.
