Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17490
wrong tooltip for "restore view"
Last modified: 2004-12-15 12:10:36 UTC
When using the "configuration" dialogue to map new commands to the menu, the tooltip associated with "restore View" in the view submenu, which appears when you mouseover the command in the selection list, is wrong. It says that the command "assigns or edits shortcut keys for OOo ,snip>". I haven't checked the customese tooptil to see if that has simply been swapped.

UFI: pls verify in CWS helpcontentbeta and close
set to status 'fixed'
Problem still occurs on some of the entries when mouse is over a non-selected entry. If an entry has been selected before, the correct tooltip is shown sometimes, but sometimes the tooltip says: "Assigns or edits the shortcut keys for $[officename] commands or $[officename] Basic macros.
FPE: This is not what this issue is about. Please verify the issue. If the general handling is buggy please submit a separate issue for that to engineering. Verification: 1. Open SO Writer 2. Choose Tools - Customize 3. Select Menu tab 4. Click Add... 5. Select View from Category list 6. Select restore View from command list The tooltip should be correct. At least it is in my installation.
