Description sbergmann 2003-07-28 08:47:00 UTC
I created a new presentation where the title slide has "black" as its background
color while all other slides use the default "white" background color.

Upon starting the Slide Show in fullscreen mode, the title slide is displayed
correctly, but pressing the SPACE-key results in a blank screen rather than the
next slide. After that, nothing happens until I escape the Slide Show mode.

Starting from slide 2 works fine. Changing the background color of the first
slide to "white" works fine, too.

I am using the app-office/openoffice-bin-1.1_rc1 GENTOO package of OpenOffice.

Reassign to cgu.
Comment 2 christian.guenther 2003-08-11 10:52:19 UTC
Please tell me which glibc do you use.
As far as I know there is a bug in glibc 2.3.1. If your glibc is 2.3.1
please use glibc 2.2.5 or 2.3.2 or set the environment variable
LD_BIND_NOW=1.
Comment 3 sbergmann 2003-08-11 11:30:50 UTC
I'm using GENTOO's glibc-2.3.2-r1 package/version of glibc.
Comment 4 christian.guenther 2003-09-25 09:57:58 UTC
I can't reproduce the bug.
Please attach a sample document to reproduce the bug.

Comment 6 christian.guenther 2003-09-29 10:15:00 UTC
set to new and change the target
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2003-09-29 10:20:19 UTC
I can reproduce the bug.
the slide doesn't 'hang' but the Automatic text color is wrong. on
slide 2 you have white (or invisible?) text on a white background. You
must click 2 times in the slide to end the presentation. With the
first click you start the object effect of the outline text box and
with the second click you you change to the next slide (in this case
you change to the 'end slide'.

Yes this is a problem with the autocolor during a running presentation.
Thorsten, please verify that the new presentation engine does not
contain this issue
Comment 9 thb 2003-10-06 13:12:10 UTC
Will do.
Comment 10 thb 2004-01-26 13:49:25 UTC
Since I'm relying on correctly recorded metafiles for the new presentation engine, this problem now
lies on the other side of the API, i.e. on your side. Please have a look.
Comment 11 clippka 2004-01-28 12:08:45 UTC
I have the subtle feeling I already fixed this one ... will have a look
Comment 12 clippka 2004-04-21 09:17:50 UTC
Thorsten, please keep in mind when doing new presentation engine
Comment 13 thb 2004-04-23 10:33:48 UTC
Okay.
Comment 14 thb 2004-05-04 11:44:01 UTC
Fixed in cws_src680_presentationengine01.
Comment 15 thb 2004-10-22 12:15:09 UTC
->cl: this now happens again. Since I retrieve only metafiles, it must indeed be the edit engine's
automatic text color going timbuktu here. Interestingly, if you display the last slide in draw mode,
switch back to first slide and then start the slideshow, the effect is reversed: first slide fully black,
second slide correct.
Comment 16 thb 2004-10-22 12:15:44 UTC
reassigned.
Comment 17 clippka 2004-10-22 13:26:33 UTC
