Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17450
Ruler units for HTML Document are always set to measurement unit
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
Scenario: - Go 'Tools->Options...->HTML Document->View' - Make sure the following are ticked: - 'Ruler' - 'Horizontal ruler' - 'Vertical ruler' - Set value of 'Horizontal ruler' to 'Centimeter' - Set value of 'Vertical ruler' to 'Centimeter' - Set value of 'Measurement unit' to 'Millimeter' - Click 'Ok' - Go 'Tools->Options...->HTML Document->View' again Buggy behaviour: - 'Horizontal ruler', 'Vertical ruler' and 'Measurement unit' are all set to 'Millimeter' - changing 'Measurement unit' to 'Millimeter', clicking 'Ok' and bringing up the options again will have changed everything to 'Millimeter' Expected behaviour: - Value for 'Horizontal ruler' and 'Vertical ruler' is 'Centimeter', value for 'Measurement unit' is 'Millimeter' Remarks: - ruler settings depend on measurement unit which shouldn't be the case. - the same works ok for 'Text Document', the only other component that combines measurement unit with units for the rulers - the two are quasi the same anyway I guess - Impress & Draw don't allow for setting ruler units independently of the measurement unit (I'll file two enhancements)
I can see this bug also on OOo 1.1 RC1 German, WinME. another remark: -I CAN change the "Measurement unit" of the rulers in the context menu of the rulers.
This seems to be fixed in RC2.
reassigned to es
ES->OS: as discussed... the "settings" and "ruler measurement" must work independently from each other.

.
fixed in cws os28 sw/source/ui/app/appopt.cxx
cws os28 can be found on so-cwsserv01, wntmsci8 and unxlngi5.pro
FIXED
Verified in os28
Well has been partly fixed. The listbox are really independantz from each other if the the rulers unit have been changed at least once. See issue 27795 for a follow up. Else seen fixed in SRC680/m34
