The "State" field in the User Data dialog which is presented during user
installation is not retained when the program is opened for the first time after
the installation successfully completes.

I have noticed this behaviour in the 1.0.x series as well as 1.1 up to 1.1RC2,
which I have just installed.

I live in British Columbia, Canada, and I enter "BC" as the State during the
installation when the User Data dialog is presented. When the program is opened
_for the first time after installation only_, the field is blank. If I then
enter it via Tools, Options, User Data, it is saved and is available OK
subsequently. This seems only to affect this particular field.

this is a wontfix, because this dialog will completely change in OOo 2.0
