Draft Poster Design for OOo 1.1 Launch

As usual, the slowing down of business activity has got my fingers itching, so I thought a new OOo 1.1 launch poster might be useful for the upcoming release. Comments appreciated on attached draft designs: note that these are low resolution PNG files, available in color (Black and OOo Pantone 286 CVU) and B&W; format fits US Letter or A4 sizes without any adjustment needed. Assuming this design is found useful and once subsequent final design decisions have been made, I'll create the high resolution versions in the appropriate formats for professional printing.

Text in this design is produced using Bitstream Vera Serif, an open source font.

Sorry, forget to mention that the OOo11_poster_color_rgc_en.zip includes and EPS format graphic file. It seems there may be a copyright issue with the use of the OOo 1.1 logo (source OOOdocs.org). This logo has not been published on the official OpenOffice.org site (www.openoffice.org), just on the OOOdocs.org site (which, according to the About Us page, states that OOOdocs is the official home of the official logos, but does not provide any licensing information, as far as I can see. Is this OOo 1.1 version logo nevertheless covered by the Sun/Author JCA + GPL or PDL? I assume that it is, since it is appearing in the builds and supporting documents. Has anybody checked? Added German and French language versions, for proofreading/rewriting by volonteers from native-lang.

Hi I have taken the free your self poster as a basis and created a new poster to promote openoffice.org 2.0. I have put this at www.zen14920.zen.co.uk, at the bottom of the first page that loads which should start with information about me. Format sxd and pdf.
