not able to reproduce the bug on red hat 7.0, linux 2.2.16, java 1.4.2, english build of OOo. What item you are talking to double click?
Doesn't matter, whatever you select on the left hand side. BTW it's OK with Debian unstable. Seems that the binary package doesn't like Debian stable, maybe would work if OOo is compiled on Woody. Anyway, anything else looks great. Yours, Klaus libc6 2.2.5-11.2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone dat
Klaus: I'll close issue for now as WORKSFORME. Could you build OOo on your machine and see if the bug persists? Reopen the bug if you disagree with this.

Just found another report on this. Must be an issue I just can't reproduce it.

Hi, I was creating the other issue. I am also using Debian. It is testing/unstable. The KDE-libraries are from unstable, the rest of the system are from testing. libc6 2.3.1-17 HÃ¥vard
There is a known problem in glibc-2.3.1 on debian that causes crashes. This is supposedly only used in testing or unstable, though. Which version of glibc do you have? Thanks!
Cannot reproduce the bug with RC2, binary install, English. However, once even X crashed when I tried it out, but this is not reproducable.
Stack dump looks identical to issue 16782 User should probably upgrade from glibc-2.3.1 to glibc-2.3.2 in any case, as 2.3.1 is known to have problems. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 16782 ***
