Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17016
OptRowHeight not working properly in bug doc
Last modified: 2020-01-28 13:37:42 UTC
- ensure that Tools/Options/Spreadsheet/General/"Use Printer metrics ..." is *off* - open the attached spreadsheet - select row 1, in it's context menu chose "Optimal Row Height" - in the dialog, enter "0,0" as additional space, press OK => the height of the row is adjusted, but the text in cell B1 (rotated by 270 degrees) is not completely visible Note: if you switch the "Use printer metrics ..." on, the bug does not happen. Also, if I print the document, the text does _also_ not fit into cell B1.
Created attachment 7889 [details] document to reproduce the bug case
Just swapping width and height in ScColumn::GetNeededSize doesn't work because of the different scaling factors.
This issue should get target "later". That doesn't mean it won't get done before 2.0, just that it's not a necessity.
According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap (http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to OOo Later.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
Hello, I also have an issue with text not fiting in a cell when printing (or preview also) When typing a long caracter chain on a few rows in a cell, the printing make a blank space on the top of the cell. More rows there is, more the blank space is high. The issue is solved by setting "Use Printer metrics ..." to *on* I think those issues are linked. Thanks
