Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17012
Datapilot incompatible with 1.0.x behaviour
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:55:29 UTC
Refreshing a DataPilot table created with Ooo 1.0.x results in a new Datapilot table with different layout. This is true only with large tables. Please find an example file in http://utenti.lycos.it/avaresi/Error-Datapilot.sxc

Hi Alessandro, I can't reproduce this Issue with a new created datapilot under OOo1.0.3 saving it and reopen it using OOo1.1RC. (I've used your data set). Nevertheless using your document, I can reproduce the behaviour. The problem is, your initial Data Pilot created with OOo1.0.3 is corrupted. You can see this by trying to move the gray comment boxes. As you can see, at least the dati box (I can't find any column with this name in your document) can't be moved. This leads me to assume this is a broken document and not the Data Pilot functionality itself. So I have to set this one to worksforme. Best regards Frank

In Ooo 1.1RC if you try to use Datapilot whe a column is named "Data" you will obtain a bad layout in the DataPilot table. You must rename this column to something different and refresh the table to obtain the correct layout.
Hi Allessandro, if you drag the data field into the column range, where must be to entrys because you have two years. Also the document itself seems to be corrupted in some way. Try it again using your data in a new document. So this is not a bug. Frank
