Description jrh 2003-07-15 21:47:43 UTC
a) The addressbook wizard does not allow the delselection of Mozilla/Netscape.

b) As a workaround, a (e.g. LDAP) addressbook can be created from the F4/Data
browser. However, in this release libstdc++.so.3 is no longer bundled. If you
don't have a compatible libstdc++.so.3 on your system, you still can't access
the fine addressbook, as libmozabdrv2.so depends upon it.

This is a regression from Beta2, (at least for (b)).

correcting sub component (see
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/describecomponents.cgi?component=database%20access,
please) and default owner

And back to the developer.

a) is allready fixed in next version.

b) yes there is a problem. libstdc++.so.3 is not available anymore in OOo.
Comment 3 marc.neumann 2003-07-16 08:03:12 UTC
set target
Comment 4 Frank Schönheit 2003-07-16 10:49:41 UTC
accepting
have to clarify where this linkage comes from - I suppose from the
Mozilla components which this lib is linked against.
Comment 5 Frank Schönheit 2003-07-16 10:58:51 UTC
indeed the OOo RC build uses mozilla components which were compiled
with gcc 2.<something>, instead of gcc 3. We'll fix this for 1.1 release.
Comment 6 Frank Schönheit 2003-07-18 11:07:20 UTC
re-compiled the mozilla components with gcc 3.x, in the course of the
internal bug 105560. Should be fixed in 1.1.

Jonathan, is this fixed for you in the 1.1 release? If so (which I
assume), could you please close the issue? Thanks.
Comment 11 jrh 2003-11-04 18:10:14 UTC
Verified as fixed in 1.1
Comment 12 hans_werner67 2004-02-02 12:14:37 UTC
