Description mrauch-openoffice 2003-07-15 09:04:59 UTC
In the installation set it is not possible to select an installation without Java:

At the end of the installation the dialog "Java Setup" appears. First the radio
button "Use an installed ..." is selected, but as I don't have a sufficiently
new one on my computer, no one is found and the "OK" button is grey to mark it
non-selectable. I then choose the radio button "Do not use Java ..." which lets
a popup "Some functionality ... missing" appear and I've confirmed that one with
"OK". Thereafter the radio button "Install new Java Environment" is selected,
but stays in a light grey colour. Pressing the "OK" button is possible, but only
has the effect to make the radio button "Use an installed ..." selected, and you
are again at the start of this procedure.

OOo 1.1 RC: The java dialog has the third entry as default (use an
installed...). If I choss to use no java the message box come up and
after confirming, the >OK< button in Java Setup dialog is enabled,
setup is running.
